From June 19 to 21, 2026, the Yordanka Filaretova Medical College and the Prof. Tcekomir Vodenicharov, DMSc Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University of Sofia organized Bulgaria’s first-of-its-kind academic forum and national student championship in massage, cosmetics, and spa therapies. The event was held under the patronage of the Rector of the Medical University of Sofia, Prof. Boycho Landzhov, MD, PhD, and with the support of the Student Council.
Among the championship sponsors was ECOMAAT, represented by Yordanka Krachmarova, Training Manager at the ECOMAAT Academy. She presented the concept of the SPA MAAT professional line to the audience of lecturers, students, international judges, and experts.
On June 20 and 21, the event moved to a hall at the Military Medical Academy, where the practical competition came to life with the participation of university students from across the country majoring in rehabilitation, kinesitherapy, medical cosmetics, and manual therapies.
